In a surprising partnership that challenges usual expectations, Ubisoft has unveiled an virtual crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising Thanksgiving event continues from November 25 through December 22, including free bonus story content for Shadows players.

Peculiar Questline Uncovered

According to the official announcement, "A strange meeting leads characters Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh adventure, where whispers of prohibited ceremonies and monstrous changes reverberate through the obscurity." The narrative features a "unusually garbed woman named Ada" who charges the characters with venturing into the Gemstone Grotto—a important location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her ally from a clandestine sect.

The adventure focuses on "strange trials and a monstrous enemy" and is accessible to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.

Familiar Places and Changes

The preview showcases the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This important location was previously where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through eras. The teaser finishes with a dramatic moment showing a character, probably the prisoner, transforming into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.

Exclusive Rewards and Extra Content

Players who successfully complete the quest will obtain an special katana alongside multiple objects hidden throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also contains premium Attack on Titan item packs, offering:
